Centerfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong helped the Chicago Cubs outslug the host Baltimore Orioles, 9-7, on Wednesday night and create a piece of MLB history.

Connecting on two home runs at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Crow-Armstrong became the first player this season to compile at least 20 homers and 20 stolen bases. It's becoming his thing.

Is a 40-40 campaign on deck?

Crow-Armstrong became the third player in franchise history to earn multiple 20-20 campaigns, joining Ryne Sandberg and Sammy Sosa, who also did it during back-to-back seasons.

Crow-Armstrong became just the fourth 20-20 player before team game No. 95 for a second straight season. Here is a list of the other three players who accomplished the rare feat:

Crow-Armstrong, who went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI, opened the scoring Wednesday with a 370-foot solo shot to right field, his 20th of the season. He connected off the third straight splitter offered by Orioles starter Dean Kremer (1-2).

He got to Kremer again in the fifth inning, a 419-foot blast also off a splitter and to right field.

Crow-Armstrong capped his 30-30 campaign in 2025 with 31 homers and 35 stolen bases, both career bests.
