The Cowboys will play in one of nine international games on the 2026 NFL schedule. These games were all officially announced Wednesday morning on the NFL Network.
The Cowboys, based on last season's records, will have one of the easier schedules in the NFL in 2026.
The Cowboys, per custom, will host the late afternoon game on Thanksgiving. Each year, they flip flop between playing and AFC or NFC opponent based on the broadcast partner assigned, and this year's game will be on FOX, indicating an All-NFC matchup.
That opponent was released as being the Philadelphia Eagles, two-time defending NFC East champion.
The Cowboys and Eagles have met on the holiday twice before, with Philadelphia winning both matchups. Dallas will be looking to win on the holiday for the fifth time in a row. Last year they took down Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-28, to claim their third win in a row that season.
They could not keep the momentum though, losing ther next three contests and four of their last five to finish the season 7-9-1 and miss the playoffs for the second-straight campaign.
