CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) -- The Champaign Kiwanis Club is hosting its annual U of I Men's Basketball Tipoff Classic next month, featuring the Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball team.
Dr. Daniel Krier with the Kiwanis Club came on WCIA 3 News at Noon to preview this year's event, which will feature Coach Brad Underwood and the entire basketball team, including newcomers and the returners from last season's Final Four team. Proceeds from ticket sales and the auction will go toward supporting the Kiwanis Club and its philanthropic efforts.
The Tipoff Classic will take place at the iHotel on Sept. 8.
