Specifics are still in the works, but the Blue Jackets have added stability to their television broadcasts with a June 21 announcement that NHL Productions will produce their games along with three other NHL teams for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

The league will provide centralized TV productions for the Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, St. Louis Blues and Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes with the possibility that more teams may join the list before the season opens in late September.
Details on the broadcast crew and platform to access Blue Jackets broadcasts were not released.
“We are excited about working with the NHL and its award-winning production team to continue delivering the best Blue Jackets coverage to our fans,” Blue Jackets vice president of business Intelligence and broadcasting Marc Gregory said in a statement. “This partnership allows us to leverage the league’s industry-leading production resources and storytelling capabilities to bring the game closer to our fans than ever before. We are continuing to work on our distribution platforms and look forward to announcing those details in the near future.”
Partnering with the NHL eliminates the need for deals with regional sports broadcasters such as the former Fox Sports regional networks and Bally's/FanDuel regional networks that operated under Diamond Sports Group to broadcast Blue Jackets games.
In recent seasons, Diamond Sports Group was under the constant threat of bankruptcy and cast a cloud of uncertainty on broadcasts for its teams, including the Blue Jackets, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Guardians and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Fans curious about where Blue Jackets games will be available to watch can look to the Reds and Guardians for comparisons. Each team uses Major League Baseball to produce games with each offering streaming packages to purchase.
The Reds are streamed on Reds.TV, MLB.TV and Fubo, while the Guardians are streamed on CLEGuardians.TV, MLB.TV and Fubo. The Guardians also simulcast select games on local TV networks, which the Blue Jackets have also done for select games the past two seasons.
