The Indianapolis Colts were among the top spenders in the league when it came to signing their undrafted free agency class following the 2026 NFL draft.

In total, the Colts have made 13 undrafted free agent signings, including the late addition of running back Anderson Castle, who took Jordon Vaughn's roster spot.

Tight end Carson Towt, who was not eligible for the NFL draft as a collegiate basketball player, also received some guaranteed money from the Colts.

According to Spotac, the Colts guaranteed $1.591 million at signing to these players, which is the eighth-most in the NFL. The Chiefs, with $3.08 million guaranteed at signing, lead the way.

Five different UDFAs received at least $210,000 from the Colts. Two others surpassed $120,000.

Guaranteed money for Colts undrafted rookies

  • LB West Weeks: $286,500
  • S Austin Brown: $272,500
  • DL Cam Ball: $272,500
  • OL Geno VanDeMark: $240,000
  • OT Nolan Rucci: $210,000
  • DE Mitchell Melton: $130,000
  • TE Carson Towt: $120,000
  • LB Tahj Chambers: $20,000
  • WR Sahmir Hagans: $15,000
  • WR Raylen Sharpe: $10,000
  • RB Lincoln Pare: $10,000
  • RB Jordon Vaughn: $5,000
  • RB Anderson Castle: $0
  • WR EJ Horton: $0

Making the 53-man roster for an undrafted rookie is always going to be an uphill battle, but in recent years, we've seen two UDFAs accomplish that feat.

In 2024, it was offensive lineman Dalton Tucker, and last year it was cornerback Johnathan Edwards.

When it comes to making a roster push as a UDFA, of course, how you perform throughout training camp and the preseason is critical, but you also have to play a position where there is a roster spot available.

In the early going, the Colts seem particularly bullish on linebackers West Weeks and Tahj Chambers.
