IMHO KK’s biggest clock management issue isn’t wasted timeouts or not leaving enough time on the clock.

His worst problem with the clock is NOT burning it. Not running the clock to the two minute warning after just getting a first down at their 30? Buffalo most likely doesn’t get a field goal at the half if we ran the clock down to the two minute warning. We didn’t need that time.

Against Miami with less than two minutes on the clock the cardinals deep in their own territory 3 and out giving Miami good field position and a minute to score a field goal.

Against Seattle the cardinals with the ball and four minutes score a TD but leave two minutes on the clock for Seattle to answer with their own.

often times were just gifting this time begore the end of the first half while letting the opponent keep timeouts.

you can still be aggressive and burn time.
