The Cleveland Browns had a lot of problems on offense in 2025, and the wide receiver position was one of them.
Jerry Jeudy followed up a career year to “lead” the team with 50 receptions for 602 yards and two touchdowns. Those numbers look positively prolific; however, when you consider the other five wide receivers who caught a pass combined for just 67 receptions, 865 yards, and two touchdowns.
Luckily, general manager Andrew Berry was paying attention, and he brought in a pair of pass catchers in the draft, KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, to join Jeudy and Isaiah to form what should be an improved unit this fall.
As we near the start of the first training camp under head coach Todd Monken, we are setting up Chris Pokorny’s main course look at the roster by offering an amuse-bouche look at each position group.

Browns WR Expectations
Best Case Scenario
Jeudy shows that his 2024 season, when he had career highs in receptions (90) and receiving yards (1,229), was his true self, and that 2025, when he had career lows in receptions (50) and receiving yards (602) for a full season, was due to the ongoing mess at quarterback.
Boston and Concepcion, while not breaking the 1,000-yard mark, showcase why they were selected so high in this year’s draft, and Bond, after a proper offseason of work, rewards the Browns for showing faith in him by becoming a reliable deep-ball threat.
General manager Andrew Berry can then head into the offseason confident that if he finally gets a real quarterback on the roster, the passing game will be ready to roll.
Worst Case Scenario
Jeudy’s big season in Cleveland was a complete outlier, and he chokes out one of the quarterbacks on the sidelines during a game in December. Rather than being the second coming of Webster Slaughter, Reggie Langhorne, and Brian Brennan, Boston and Concepcion are Brian Robiskie and Mohamed Massaquoi 2.0. At the same time, Bond makes everyone long for the days of Darrin Chiaverini.
Browns WR Roster
Improved or WorseThan 2025’s Version
Unless the top four guys all suffer season-ending injuries in the preseason, the wide receiver group is light years better than last season. Jeudy may not hit his 2024 high, but he also should not have to with Boston and Concepcion also on the field, and Bond doing his part to loosen up the defense.
That top four helps slot the secondary guys into positions that are more suited to their skills, which is how you want it to be, as opposed to relying on guys who try hard but are limited in what they can bring to the field.
Now if they only had a quarterback …
