The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the most active teams on the trade market during the 2025 NFL draft, and made their second deal with the New England Patriots in Round 7.

In exchange for the No. 251 and 257 selections, New England sent the Kansas City pick No. 228, which will likely be the Chiefs' final choice on Day 3, barring another trade.

Kansas City's front office executed a series of maneuvers to maximize the value of its team's draft capital over the last three days, and this savvy move up will help the Chiefs round out their 2025 draft class.
