Kansas City Chiefs players recently packed food bags and welcome kits for Newhouse, a local domestic violence shelter.
Newhouse has an ongoing tradition of giving back to the local area through various philanthropic pillars. Players featured in the recent drive include All-Pro center Creed Humphrey, veteran linebacker Drue Tranquill, and more.
Kansas City's oldest domestic violence shelter, Newhouse, supports survivors through community outreach, volunteering, and charity events. The Chiefs' front office staff and players regularly participate in donation drives and organize welcome kits for families at the shelter.
The franchise actively supports the local Kansas City community through year-round outreach programs, charitable grants, and fan-focused charity drives. The Chiefs Community Caring Team and the Hunt Family Foundation focus their philanthropic efforts also on Health and Wellness, Hunger Relief, Education, and Youth.
