Colston Loveland will be around some of the best tight ends in the NFL next week.

The Chicago Bears' tight end is confirmed to attend Tight End University in Nashville, Tenn., for the three-day event. According to a source, Bears rookie third-round draft pick Sam Roush and Qadir Ismail are also confirmed to attend.

"Founded in 2021 by NFL Tight Ends George Kittle, Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen, Tight End University was created to bring the Tight End community together for an immersive three-day program," according to the official Tight End University website. "Over the course of the summit, attendees are able to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more. In addition to current players, TEU also features several retired legends who provide attendees with the invaluable opportunity to learn from some of the best to ever play the game."

This will be Loveland's first time attending Tight End U. The Bears' No. 10 overall draft pick was recovering from an AC joint injury last offseason, limiting his participation in the offseason.

Despite a quiet start through the first few weeks of his rookie year, Loveland finished as the Bears' leading receiver, securing 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns.

I learn so much every single time I talk to Tyson Bagent.

Watch him break down Colston Loveland's first touchdown of the game.

Of course, we talked about his throw to Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson as a playcaller, which can all be found in the full video on @WatchMarquee. pic.twitter.com/7IkClZGqqG

Before Loveland prepares for a much-anticipated Year 2, the talented playmaker will get an opportunity to learn from some of the best players at the position. This is an invaluable experience for the 22-year-old tight end, especially with players like Travis Kelce, George Kittle and former Bears tight end Greg Olson in attendance.

During mandatory minicamp, Loveland highlighted what area of his game he wanted to improve this upcoming season.

“I think for example in the run game, it's like a stalemate or just hanging on," Loveland said. "The runner's not getting touched, I'm doing my job technically, but it's not good enough to put on tape. I think you need to put dominant and real good stuff on tape, really dominating someone, moving someone. I think that's the next step.”

The Bears' young tight end is always looking to improve, and his decision to attend tight end university is indication of his commitment to his craft. Unlike last season, opposing teams will have tape to review on Loveland, but that the Bears' tight end doesn't sound too concerned about that going into his second year in the NFL.

“Maybe there might be a little more awareness now," Loveland said. "But like I said, there's a lot of dudes on the field who can make a play, so pick your poison.”
