The Chargers addressed their offensive line ahead of the playoffs, signing former Ravens guard Ben Cleveland to the practice squad.
In correspondence, Los Angeles waived safety Marcus Maye from the practice squad.
Cleveland, 27, is familiar with the Chargers' front office. Selected by the Ravens in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft, he was part of Baltimore's organization when general manager Joe Hortiz served as Director of Player Personnel.
In his five years with Baltimore, Cleveland appeared in 64 games, seven of them being starts. He has experience at both guard spots, with most of his snaps coming at left guard (391).
Cleveland became available after the Ravens waived him earlier this month following a three-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. The suspension stemmed from a DUI incident in February 2025, in which Cleveland pleaded guilty in November.
A four-year starter at Georgia, Cleveland earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2020.
