The Chargers completed an interview with Cardinals passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach Drew Terrell for their vacant offensive coordinator role, the team announced.
Terrell, 34, joined Arizona in 2023, where he mentored rookie Marvin Harrison Jr. to 62 receptions, 885 yards, and 8 touchdowns in 2024, which tied a franchise rookie record. Before that, he coached wide receivers for the Commanders from 2020 to 2022, helping Terry McLaurin achieve three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and a 2022 Pro Bowl selection. His career began with the Panthers as an offensive quality control coach from 2018 to 2019.
Terrell played wide receiver at Stanford under head coach Jim Harbaugh and later served as a graduate assistant on Harbaugh's Michigan staff from 2015 to 2017.
