Celtics NBA Cup dates vs. Bulls, Hornets, Wizards, and Hawks revealed

The NBA Cup is back for its fourth season, and the Boston Celtics find themselves in East Group C along with the Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, and Charlotte Hornets. The C's have known who they're facing during the in-season tournament for some time, but now they know where and when they'll play them, too.

On Wednesday morning, the NBA announced the group play schedule for every team. The Celtics aren't in a stacked group, as the Hawks were they only other squad besides the Green Team to make the playoffs last season. However, Boston has largely struggled in Cup play since the tournament's invention and was eliminated in the group stages during the 2025-26 campaign. To change that and reach the NBA Cup Championship at Hinkle Fieldhouse — home of Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens' old team, the Butler Bulldogs — in Indianapolis, the Celtics must win a majority (if not all) of the East Group C games scheduled below:

Friday, October 30 vs. Chicago Bulls - 7:30 pm ET​
