The Boston Celtics are picking 27th overall in Tuesday night's NBA Draft.

Any Celtics fan will tell you the team likely has its eyes set on an exciting center prospect. Many mocks have them tied to Kentucky forward Jayden Quaintance. Others pair Boston up with UNC's Henri Veesaar.

However, with the draft hours away, the Celtics are being increasingly linked to Duke forward Isaiah Evans.

Evans is a 6-foot-6 wing who played 28 minutes per game during his sophomore season with the Blue Devils. He made 36% of his 280 threes taken. Evans more than doubled the three-point shots attempted from the second-highest deep-range shooter.

He averaged 15 points per game while nearly leading the Blue Devils in blocks.

USA Today's Bryan Kalbrosky is one of the analysts who sees Evans as a fit in Boston.

"Duke sophomore Isaiah Evans scored 218 points when shooting off the catch, per Synergy, which ranked third-best among ACC players last season. He also matched 30 corner 3-pointers," Kalbrosky wrote. "Expect the Celtics to potentially have Evans higher on their big board than other teams might. UConn's Alex Karaban, who reportedly had a pre-draft workout with the organization, also fits the bill."

Head coach Joe Mazzulla's mantra is three and D. If Boston can't get their hands on a center they're truly excited about, Evans makes a lot of sense.
