CHEBOYGAN – It’s time to vote for the Cheboygan Daily Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.
Each week, Cheboygan area high school athletes will be eligible for the athlete of the week honor. Athlete of the week polls go live on Tuesday morning and voting closes at 11 p.m. on Thursday. The athlete of the week will be announced on Friday.

TOP SPORTS PERFORMERS APRIL 11-17: Looking at the Cheboygan area's top spring sports performers from April 11-17
This is the first athlete of the week poll for the spring sports season.
Here’s this week’s nominees:
Sean Postula, Cheboygan Baseball – Went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored in a game against East Jordan.
Hannah Whippo, Cheboygan Softball – Recorded three hits and four RBIs in a game against Traverse City St. Francis.
Aidan Fenstermaker, Inland Lakes Baseball – Finished 2-for-4 with a first-career homer, two RBIs and four runs scored in a game against Sault Ste. Marie.
Emily Kruczynski, Mackinaw City Softball – Has started off the season 9-of-13 at the plate with a homer, two triples and a double.
Mason Beebe, Onaway Baseball – Hit a three-run homer and finished with three total hits in a doubleheader against Bellaire.
Haydan Williams, Wolverine Softball – Combined to go 6-for-9 with three home runs and 11 RBIs, while also picking up a pair of pitching wins against Alanson.
Jason Dutcher, Wolverine Baseball – Went a perfect 7-for-7 with a home run, a triple and three doubles in a doubleheader against Alanson.
