Cam Ward will find out where his career starts on Thursday, April 24’s NFL Draft, which begins at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
The Miami Hurricanes standout quarterback is one of the most highly-touted players in this year’s draft. He also had stints at Incarnate Word and Washington State.
Ward played college football from 2020 until 2024, finishing his college career by passing for 18,137 yards and 158 touchdowns against 37 interceptions. Ward had a 35-22 record as a starting quarterback in college.
Ward was a finalist for the 2024 Heisman Trophy after helping Mario Cristobal’s Miami Hurricanes finish 10-3 with a PopTarts bowl appearance. Ward won the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Player of the Year award.
