Following Caitlin Clark's new player-edition Nike Kobe 6 Protro's selling out almost instantly, your chances of obtaining a pair of the Iowa women's basketball legend's kicks just got a little more expensive and more complicated, depending on your shoe size.
The sleek Light Armory Blue Kobe 6 Protro PEs, featuring a snakeskin-like pattern and neon blue Nike swooshes, launched at $200 last Wednesday. Unsurprisingly, those sold out almost instantaneously.
While the hefty price tag is normal for player-specialized shoes at Nike, some sizes of Clark's shoes are fetching an increasingly lofty price on the resale market, averaging more than $300 on resale with StockX.
According to Nike, the company describes the shoe as featuring a unique low-profile and sleek design to maximise speed, while keeping your feet cool under the biggest moments.
While it is unclear whether Nike will release a second sale of the shoe, the only places to purchase it at the moment appear to be resale markets.
Nike is set to release Clark’s first official signature line, including sneakers and other apparel, but it is slated for an undetermined time in 2026.
