The group stage of the CAF Champions League 2025–2026 wrapped up last Sunday with the completion of the sixth and final round of Group B.

Eight clubs have secured their spots in the quarter-finals, including the title holders Pyramids FC (Egypt).

14 goals scored​


Egyptian side Pyramids FC smashed in 14 goals across 6 matches, averaging over two goals per game. They outperformed the next most prolific teams, Al Hilal and Mamelodi Sundowns, who each netted 9 goals.

2 goals conceded​


Three clubs achieved the remarkable feat of conceding only two goals during the group stage: Pyramids FC from Group A, AS FAR from Group B, and Stade Malien from Group D.

5 goals for Mahmoud Trezeguet​


Al Ahly’s winger, Mahmoud Trezeguet, leads the scoring charts for the 2025–2026 Champions League group stage with 5 goals. He is ahead of Sudan’s Abdelrazig Omer from Al Hilal and Ahmed Atef, the star of Pyramids FC, who have each scored 4 goals.

Once again, North African teams have made a strong showing in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
