BEREA ― There's a rest day awaiting the Browns on Aug. 2. However, they need to get through Day 4 of training camp on Aug. 1 before they can get there.
The first full-squad Saturday workout is also a milestone in the camp. It marks the final day of the mandated five-day ramp-up period before the Browns can transition into full pads.
That first full-pad practice will be Aug. 3. That starts a six-practices-in-six-days stretch for the Browns, something only permitted by the collective bargaining agreement prior to a team's first preseason game.

That first preseason game comes Aug. 15 at the Chicago Bears. That, however, is still a couple of weeks away.
For now, follow along here for updates as the Browns go through Day 4 of training camp in Berea:
The Browns have eight remaining training camp practices open to the general public. All practices are scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m., with the gates opening one hour in advance. Practices that are moved inside due to the weather will be closed to the public.
