During the course of last week's NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns addressed their defense with the first two picks.

They selected former Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham with the No. 5 pick overall. In the second round they drafted linebacker Carson Schwesinger from UCLA.

Aside from that? The balance of the picks were devoted to their offensive needs.

But maybe there is UDFA help to come.

The Browns addressed the lack of depth at the edge rusher position when they added Tulane's Adin Huntington as an undrafted free agent. He will come to training camp with Cleveland with some good numbers ...

And one not-so-good number.

Huntington arrived in New Orleans in 2024 and played one season with the Green Wave. He had 4.5 sacks in 2024.

He also spent time at Kent State and University of Louisiana-Monroe.

Huntington had his most productive season in 2023 with Louisiana-Monroe. He totaled 63 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks in a rather impressive season. For his career, Huntington accumulated 15.5 sacks.

But ...

Huntington stands just 6-0 - "too short'' by any scout's measure - and weighs 260 pounds. He does not fit the prototype blueprint for an NFL edge rusher, obviously. For comparison purposes, his new teammate Myles Garrett, one of the best in the business, is 6-foot-4, 272 pounds.

What Huntington lacks in size, his fans will argue, he makes up for in productoon. His numbers speak for themselves.

There is no question the Browns could use some help with depth on the edge. Perhaps Huntington can stand tall enough to give himself a shot.
