Denver Broncos defensive lineman Dondrea Tillman had his second interception of the season, this time against the Las Vegas Raiders, in a 10-7 victory on Thursday. After gathering in the ball, Tillman followed a convoy of blockers, including linebacker Alex Singleton, inside the Raider 35.
“Yeah, when I caught the ball, honestly, seeing people to my right, so I looked left, and then I saw Alex [Singleton] and he was pointing that way,” Tillman said of the interception after the game. “So I just ran over there. He got a good block, and then, you know, I just tried to make a play.”
Twitter reacted to Tillman's athletic touchdown on Thursday night.
Denver's defense shut down a Las Vegas offense that has two young superstars in Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers. The Broncos limited Vegas to 188 total yards and one first-quarter touchdown, forcing eight punts, one turnover on downs, and one interception. “You know, the defense is relentless,” Tillman said. “Every day, we come out to work, we come out competing, and we know the sky’s the limit for us. As long as we do our exact things, we’re unstoppable."
Denver's defense is unstoppable right now, holding eight of its 10 opponents to less than 25 points, and five of those teams under 18 points. They face their toughest biannual test on Nov. 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
