The Denver Broncos are bringing back inside linebacker Alex Singleton on a two-year deal worth $15.5 million with $11 million guaranteed, according to a report from Zac Stevens of DNVR Broncos.
Singleton (6-2, 240 pounds) spent time with three NFL teams after entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of Montana State in 2015. He then had a three-year run in the CFL, winning a Grey Cup and earning two CFL All-Star nods during his time with the Calgary Stampeders.
After that, Singleton relaunched his NFL career with a successful three-year run with the Philadelphia Eagles that landed him a contract with the Broncos in 2022. Denver initially signed Singleton as a special teams player, but he ended up starting 12 games that season, racking up 163 tackles.
Singleton followed that up by starting 16 games in 2023, totaling 177 tackles. He then started the first three games of the 2024 campaign before suffering a torn ACL. He returned as a 16-game starter in 2025, only missing one game after undergoing surgery to remove testicular cancer.
The 32-year-old linebacker has totaled 506 tackles, 13 quarterback hits, 12 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception in 53 games with the Broncos.
