PITTSBURGH − The Milwaukee Brewers began a long day of baseball with some bad news, moving Kyle Harrison to the 15-day injured list with left forearm tightness.
Harrison departed his last start July 8 after four innings and 70 pitches with what the Brewers said was discomfort on the outside of his elbow.
Harrison’s velocity declined a bit during the outing and he sat in the 92- to 94-mph range in his final inning.
Robert Gasser was recalled from Class AAA Nashville in a corresponding move.
