Boston Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens is going to have to make some more room in his trophy case.

For the second time in his career, Stevens has been named the NBA Basketball Executive of the Year. Stevens also won the award following the 2023-24 season. He became just the 12th executive to win the award multiple times.

From the NBA:

Stevens assembled a team that finished 56-26 in the 2025-26 regular season, the second-best record in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics secured a top-two seed in the NBA Playoffs presented by Google for the fifth straight season, matching Stevens’ five seasons in his current role.

Before joining Boston’s front office, Stevens served as the team’s head coach for eight seasons. During his 13-year tenure with the franchise, the Celtics have made 12 playoff appearances.

Fellow basketball executives from other NBA teams made up the voting panel for the award.

Stevens became the second member of the Celtics to win an NBA award for the '25-26 season. Celtics guard Derrick White recently won the NBA Sportsmanship Award.

While the individual accolades are nice, both guys would assuredly trade in their personal hardware for the opportunity to hoist another Larry O'Brien Trophy in June.
