Bolton Wanderers have signed winger Rob Apter on loan from Championship side Charlton Athletic for the remainder of the season.

The 22-year-old has made 13 appearances for the Addicks this term having joined from Blackpool in July.

Whilst with Blackpool, Apter had loan spells with Tranmere and Scunthorpe and made 55 appearances for the Seasiders in all competitions before he departed for the capital last summer.

"I think I did really well in League One last season and I've played in the Championship this season. I just want to contribute with goals and assists to help the team," he told Bolton's website.

"Once I get on the pitch I think everyone will be able to see what I'm about. I can't wait to get into training and get going on Saturday."

Apter joins Jack Bonham, David Harrington, Lewis Temple and Corey Blackett-Taylor in signing for Bolton during the winter transfer window.

Charlton managing director James Rodwell added: "At just 22, Rob remains a long-term asset for the club, and we look forward to welcoming him back in the summer following what we hope will be a productive loan spell."
