Ryan and I are back with you for another edition of the podcast. On this episode we continue our talk about the retirement of Mike Bobinski and how we would grade his legacy. How much weight do you put on football versus other sports? How do you grade the Barry Odom hire given that we are only one year into his tenure? Is it fair to reassess the grade after 6 months, and therefore Odom’s second football season? We talk about all this and more, including the fall from grace for the women’s basketball program, in the first half of the podcast.

Then, we look ahead to the first of the newcomers to join the men’s basketball program for 2026-2027. This is incoming freshman Luke Ertel, Mr. Basketball, 3-Point shot champion and heir apparent to the Braden Smith legacy? Or is that too much? Ryan and I get into it and talk about notes from the first practice via or correspondent in the field Casey Bartley.
