Do the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks need to execute a trade to strengthen their roster further this offseason after losing multiple key pieces from their championship core in the open market this year?

According to Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton, the Seahawks stand to gain from trading a 2027 mid-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson.

”The reigning champions lost lead running back Kenneth Walker III in free agency, but they can field a productive ground attack with a high-end offensive line group,” Moton said. “The Seahawks should inquire about Powers-Johnson, who's battling for a starting guard position with the Raiders in consecutive offseasons.”

Powers-Johnson allowed two sacks and 10 total pressures last season across 354 snaps played at right guard. The Raiders’ offensive lineman earned an overall player grade of 63.8 from Pro Football Focus for his performance last season and is a veteran that the Seahawks may find useful in adding to their unit at center or at right guard, amid questions surrounding RG Anthony Bradford this offseason.
