Would the Cards get a discount or something to sign a vet?

I think he can contribute in the right circumstances (3rd Down) but don't know if we can afford him. Wish we could. He should have never left.

Can't afford him? We have more than enough, plus i think he would only want a mil a year. He has great hands and maybe can lineup as a second TE.

This team lacks WR's, having Shipp, Centers and F Jones dropping out for short passes would be great. you could cause all kinds of match up problems, bringing Centers in on certain downs, throw Emmitt Smith in there, and That would be tons of talent for short yardage passing, this would allow fast WR's like Gilmore and whoever else ends up on the team, to go deep, creating match up problems, I like thge idea. Centers is my all time favorite Cardinal
