Big sides kept apart for Asian Cup quarter-finals
The group stages of the Women's Asian Cup in Australia are complete with the big sides all separated and some setting up what could be a blockbuster end to the competition.
South Korea who finished ahead of hosts Australia in Group A, will host one of the third-placed teams, Uzbekistan who they are expected to ease past into the semi-finals.
Should they do that then they will likely face Japan who scored 17 goals in the group stage (including 11 against India) to top Group C.
Then in the other bracket there is the intriguing encounter between Group B winners China and Group C runners-up Chinese Taipei representing Taiwan.
China of course will be heavy favourites for that where they will most likely face the Matildas should they defeat North Korea.
Quarter-final games will be played this weekend meaning that a large number of WSL players from Australia and Japan won't be featuring for their clubs as league action returns.
