After weather delays across the Big Bend pushed postseason play back a day, four area softball teams return to action Wednesday with regional titles — and state semifinal berths — on the line.

Madison County, North Florida Christian, St. John Paul II and Chiles headline the slate as the Florida High School Athletic Association regional playoffs resume following Tuesday’s postponements.

Madison County sits one win away from the state semifinals, while NFC and St. John Paul II meet in an all-local matchup in Class 1A. Wakulla and Chiles continues to its postseason run with home-field advantage as the War Eagles face Yulee and the Timberwolves take on Middleburg.
