A rivalry is “thrice” as nice this NFL Wild Card Weekend when the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers battle for a third time on Saturday night.
If the tight spread is any indication, we’ve got a great game on deck. And with the stakes extra-high in postseason, we’ve got to have a same-game parlay that meets that intensity.
Here are my best Packers vs. Bears predictions and NFL picks for January 10.
I like the home team in this game. The Chicago Bears are much healthier than the Green Bay Packers and can ground-and-pound a banged-up defense with a two-headed monster in the backfield.
A ball-hawk Bears defense will make the Cheesheads pay for any mistakes.
Jayden Reed is at his healthiest since returning to the lineup last month. He’s been a Swiss Army knife for the Packers attack.
Not only does Chicago have trouble slowing down slot receivers like Reed, but we’ve seen the WR get some carries in two games versus the Bears.
As mentioned, Chicago is running the ball very well in the home stretch of the season, and D’Andre Swift is still the bell cow back. He’s able to rumble into the end zone and is also a threat to catch a TD pass in the Wild Card Round.
