The Chicago Bears are gearing up for their Week 17 prime-time game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, where Chicago has an opportunity to win the NFC North for the first time since 2018.

The Bears returned to the practice field on Wednesday, where they had three players not practice due to illness -- wide receiver Devin Duvernay, linebacker D'Marco Jackson and cornerback Nick McCloud. Linebacker T.J. Edwards also didn't practice due to a glute injury. Wide receiver Rome Odunze, who's missed the last two games, did not practice as he nurses his foot injury.

The good news is rookie receiver Luther Burden III (ankle) returned to practice in limited fashion. Also limited in practice were safety Kevin Byard (ankle), center Drew Dalman (ankle/hand), nickel cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson (knee) and cornerback Nahshon Weight (hamstring).
