Bayern revive interest in USMNT star
According to multiple reports, Bayern Munich are closing in on the signing of Ismael Saibari – but it appears he is not the only PSV player the German double winners are looking at.
Eindhovens Dagblad reports that Dutch right-back Sergiño Dest is also on Bayern’s shortlist and could be signed in addition to Saibari.
The report mentions a fee in the region of €23-25 million for the 25-year-old, who is set to represent the United States at the World Cup.
It's not the first time Bayern have been linked with Dest. Many years ago, the Bavarians considered a move for the defender when he was playing for Ajax, but he instead joined FC Barcelona in 2020 before later returning to the Netherlands to play for PSV.
