In the event of a final disagreement with Bradley Barcola, Paris Saint-Germain has checked the name of Englishman Anthony Gordon, per reports. But the Newcastle United winger is moving closer to Bayern Munich with the complicity of his national team coach, Thomas Tuchel.

While waiting for the end of its season, PSG has put discussions with its own players on hold. The capital club will restart them only after the Champions League final against Arsenal. It will then be time to resume negotiations with Barcola's entourage.

These exchanges, which have been ongoing for many months, have yet to result in an agreement, and the Parisian management is beginning to consider a negative outcome.

A final disagreement would prompt PSG to open the door to its winger, who is under contract until 2028. Moreover, the French champion has already identified the potential successor to the Frenchman.

According to TEAMtalk, the Parisian management has a soft spot for Gordon, 25. Nothing concrete for the moment, given that Barcola is not against the idea of extending.

A situation that benefits Bayern Munich. The Bavarians, once interested in the former Lyon player, have set their sights on the Newcastle winger. Their interest has even intensified after a discussion between sporting director Max Eberl and Tuchel.

The England coach has indeed advised Bayern Munich to sign Gordon. The German giant would be more confident than ever, even if it will be necessary to reach an agreement with Newcastle.

While the Magpies are demanding nearly $94 million, the Bavarians would only have gone up to about $69 million. Not enough to worry Bayern Munich, knowing that PSG, too busy with Barcola, does not represent a real threat on the trail of the English international, who is excited about the idea of joining the German powerhouse.

As of today, it seems most likely that Barcola will extend his contract with PSG. The French winger has never expressed discomfort with the Parisian team, despite normally being the fourth option in attack in important matches.
