Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer out of DFB Cup final
Bayern Munich have received a huge blow to their DFB Pokal chances after Manuel Neuer was ruled out of Saturday’s final against VfB Stuttgart.
Sky Germany report that because of a calf injury, Neuer is sidelined meaning that Jonas Urbig will start in goal.
Neuer was called up to Julian Nagelsmann 26-man Germany squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and, per the report, his recovery is progressing well after being substituted during Bayern’s 5-1 final day win over Cologne.
