Barcelona are reportedly closing in on a deal for Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon and will pay an initial €70 million for the England winger.
The latest update comes from Fabrizio Romano and news that the deal is almost done.
The two clubs have a deal in place and are just awaiting the green light from Newcastle’s owners on a transfer that could be worth €80m in total.

Reporter Ben Jacobs adds that Barcelona have pencilled in a medical for later this week and hope to conclude the deal shortly.
News of Barcelona making a move for Gordon broke in Spain last night and appears to have moved with remarkable speed since then.
Gordon had long been tipped to leave Newcastle this summer, with initial speculation claiming that Bayern Munich were planning to bring him to Bavaria.
The latest updates suggest that Barcelona are now set to win the race for Gordon and he will be the club’s first signing of the summer.
