Just drove by it tonight and made a mental note to take the wife there some day soon.

They have so much good stuff but my favorite is the lulu wings. They are sweet, spicy and very unique. Highly recommend.

I hope you love it as much as I do

trying to get my wife to go there. she doesn't like seafood. It will be a challenge.

I hate seafood Hollywood, there are plenty of non seafood items. With gumbo I do chicken and sausage, same with jambalaya. Etoufee is always seafood. Lulu wings are great chicken wings.

My wife likes the pulled pork with coleslaw on it. Friday nights is a giant pork chop smothered in gravy that pulls apart with a fork.

Anyway yeah, I don't touch seafood and LOVE this restaurant, lots of options beyond seafood.

(I went today with my team of 15 for lunch, we all split a few orders of Lulu wings and I got chicken and sausage gumbo. Was the bombbbbbbb. Several people got catfish poboys and loved them. Most other people got the serena (non seafood) or the cajun combo with seafood. Everyone loved it)

PS: Your black part might love it more than your white part.

No sir, Baseline and Dobson. The landlords on Camelback were fleecing them.
Good food fo sho. Went there a few times when I lived closer, but now I'm about in between the old and new places.

Not surprised they were getting fleeced on rent. That was a prime location, but not a prime shopping center.

forced to do own repairs, add their own AC, etc.

There is a new place where they were that had a nice look to it.

I am tempted to ask the owners if they would open on sundays for away games to host a bunch of cardinal fans and have happy hour prices =X

I know I am down. Otherwise ill just watch at home.

Heard they were re-opening a Phoenix location at 16th/Bethany?

Either way I hope they come back to that part of town.

16th and bethany fell through, the local cafe through a huge fit about the parking situation. So many delays kept coming and coming and this new location pretty much fell in their lap so they jumped on it.

the new location is sweet inside and out.

They do want to be in phoenix still but for now all focus is on this location.

I'll be moving to San Tan Valley in 3 weeks. Big foodie. I love Cajun food, visited NOLA just for the restaurants. Can't wait to give it a try.
