AUBURN — The long-reported Auburn basketball foreign tour is officially set. In fact, it's already happening, as the program announced Tuesday, Aug. 4, it was departing for a week-long trip to Greece that will include two games against a Serbian Club.
The tour will officially last from Tuesday until Aug. 12. The Tigers will land in Athens, where they'll spend two days before venturing over to Mykonos to play KK Mega Superbet — where former Auburn forward Filip Jović played before coming to college — on Saturday (Aug. 8) and Sunday (Aug. 9).
Neither contest will be streamed or televised, according to a release.
It'll be Auburn's first action since last season, in which it went 22-16 overall. Head coach Steven Pearl's first season at the helm, the Tigers ultimately won their final five games and an NIT title after missing the NCAA Tournament.
