Auburn basketball facing West Virginia to start Players Era Championship

AUBURN — With a return to Las Vegas looming, Auburn basketball now knows how it'll start the 2026 Players Era Championship, with the event announcing that the Tigers would face West Virginia on Nov. 17 at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

It'll be the sixth-ever meeting between the programs, with the Mountaineers leading the all-time series 3-2. They've won the past two matchups, with the latest coming in 2023.
