Arsenal stars Leandro Trossard, Declan Rice and Gabriel Magalhaes return to training ahead of Sporting CP game

Arsenal return to Champions League action tomorrow and Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has been handed a triple injury boost. Leandro Trossard, Declan Rice and Gabriel Magalhaes were all back in training this morning when Arsenal held an open training session today. However, the Emirates Stadium club remain without Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber and Eberechi Eze and it remains to be seen whether they will travel to Portugal for the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.


Arsenal were dumped out of the FA Cup by Southampton in the quarter-final on Saturday, with a late goal condemning the North London club to a 2-1 defeat. They will be desperate to go far in the Champions League and victory in the first-leg against Sporting will be huge.

Having the aforementioned trio back in action is a huge and timely boost after the disappointment from the weekend, and Arteta will be praying for more good news.
