Arsenal are prepared to offer Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior the biggest contract in the history of the Emirates Stadium club, according to The Telegraph. Gunners manager Mikel Arteta wants the 26-year-old at the North London club, and Arsenal are ready to break the bank to sign him. Vinicius currently earns £400,000 per week at Madrid, and the Gunners are ready to improve those terms to lure him to Emirates. The Brazilian is one of the best attackers on the planet, and signing him will be a huge statement of intent for Arsenal.
They have discussed the figures of what it would potentially take to get him and finance will not be a barrier to their aims. Vinicius ended last season with 22 goals and 14 assists in 53 games across all competitions, and he has what it takes to improve the Gunners’ attack.
He has just a year left on his Madrid contract and talks over a renewal have not been successful so far.
