The NCAA softball portal does not open for undergraduates until June 8. That change in the portal window has not accomplished its intended goal of keeping portal news off the radar until after the Women’s College World Series, though. Just like in the other sports that attempted this, players simply announce their intentions to enter shortly after their seasons end.

That doesn’t mean the portal is empty. Graduate students can enter at any time. There is also a window for undergraduates who are experiencing coaching changes at their current programs. Neither of those things apply to current Arizona players, so any player listed as in the portal before June 8 has simply announced her intention to enter when it opens.

Players are listed with their class year in 2026-27. They are also listed under their primary position(s) when that’s evident from their stats. Otherwise, they’re listed according to the roster positions or what they put in their transfer portal entries.

The roster limit for NCAA softball is 25, but Arizona has rarely carried that many players. Last season, it started with 20 and finished with 19. Injured pinch runner Shyanne Duke was added to the roster the week before play started and dropped partway through the season. She made four appearances as a pinch runner before she left the program.
