For real, though, if this was the NHL Torrey would be fired by now. Those clubs usually don't mess around, even if they were championship caliber the previous year

Newman has been a Godsend. Good bounce back from Henry.
I’m very critical of Torrey but to have this many injuries and still have been in most games this year is pretty impressive.

Yep. First time we have won 3 games by 13 in a season and it is only April. It is all or nothing at the point. I predicted 81-81 with my head but my heart has us winning 100. That’s why I don’t bet. I love baseball, it has been very, very good to me.
