Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Isaiah Adams was charged with four gun-related offenses in Canada over the weekend, just a few days before he was to report to training camp. However, while the charges appear serious, he expects to be cleared of any wrongdoing.

Adams' attorney, Adam Weisburg, told the Arizona Republic, “Isaiah is completely innocent in this matter – he had no knowledge of any firearm, and he will be fully exonerated.”

His sister, Allyson Mae Adams, was arrested and taken into custody last week in Pickering, Ontario, and was charged with four offenses related to possession of a gun that was reported stolen in the United State. Isaiah Adams turned himself in on Sunday and was also charged.

Two others were also charged and had other charges for having fentanyl.

Adams reportedly showed up to Arizona to report to training camp in the meantime.

The Cardinals released a statement indicating that they were aware of the situation but would not comment beyond that.

Adams was drafted in the third round in 2024, and he finished the last two seasons as the team's starting right guard.
