The Arizona Cardinals have made several moves in free agency so far. They have addressed many positions. While their moves might not be completely done, we know more or less what each position looks like.

The big question is whether the Cardinals are better as a result of the moves?

Over the next several articles, we will look at each position group and take a look at which players are not returning and who is new to determine whether they have improved at the position or not.

Let's take a look at the offensive line.

2026 Cardinals offseason moves on the offensive line

Gone:

  • Jonah Williams
  • Kelvin Beachum
  • Evan Brown
  • Will Hernandez

Brown was released after the Cardinals signed Isaac Seumalo. The rest have gone unsigned in free agency so far.

Hernandez injured his hip and ended the year on injrued reserve.

Returning

  • Paris Johnson
  • Hjalte Froholdt
  • Isaiah Adams
  • Jon Gaines
  • Josh Fryar
  • Christian Jones
  • Hayden Conner
  • Demontrey Jacobs
  • Valentin Senn

Everyone was already under contract. Johnson and Hjalte are the known starters for 2026.

New additions:

  • Isaac Seumalo
  • Elijah Wilkinson
  • Matt Pryor

Seumalo gets a three-year deal and should start at left guard. Wilkinson got a two-year deal and, for now, projects as the starting right tackle after he started all 17 games and played every snap at right tackle for the Atlanta Falcons. He has experience starting at guard.

Pryor is depth with starting experience at four positions.

Are the Cardinals better on the offensive line?

At one position, yes, but overall...maybe barely.

We can lock in Johnson at left tackle and Froholdt at center. There are no changes there. Right now, Isaiah Adams returns as the starting right guard, so they aren't any better there.

Seumalo is an upgrade over Brown, but Wilkinson is not an upgrade over Williams at right tackle, except in availability.

No Beachum makes the tackle depth worse, although Fryar did show some promise.

If the Cardinals draft a right tackle and Wilkinson moves to right guard, then perhaps he is an upgrade over Adams.

But overall, if the line is better overall, right now it is only at one position.
