Vanderbilt bowling swept Tulane on Wednesday to advance in the Conference USA tournament. That means they won’t play again on Friday against one of Arkansas State, Wichita State, or Youngstown State. Hail Pinman.
And I guess the big news: the men’s basketball team is back in the NCAA Tournament today. Game time for the first-round game against McNeese is roughly 2:15 PM or 30 minutes after the Nebraska-Troy game finishes, and will be televised on truTV. Also, Chandler Bing is returning to the basketball team next year (and I’m not going to lie, it’s sort of weird that anybody would think otherwise, but that’s where we’re at in college basketball in 2026.)
Women’s tennis, on a four-game winning streak, hosts Ole Miss today at 4:30 PM. The Hustler has a write-up about the last two of those four wins. Also, track and field opens outdoor season today in Jacksonville.
