I watched this documentary. I know there are a lot of 9/11 ones already. But this focused more on the CIA operatives who worked towards finding Bin Laden from the early dies all the way through the aftermath of when they finally found and killed him. There was some new information, that I never knew before. Like the Bush Administration had an opportunity to send ground troops over to Tora Bora to capture him and Secretary Rumsfeld and to some degree President Bush refused to send military ground troops. Seems like a complete failure in hindsight.

They needed him as a boogeyman for their plans to enrich their friends in the military industrial machine.

it was scary to see how quick G. Bush went full revenge and war crazy. One thing I want to give credit to is president Obama for reprioritizing the manhunt. He put a lot of pressure on the CIA to find him. and in the end you see that they had circumstantial evidence at best when Obama decided to move forward with the mission. Joe Biden and defense secretary Gates both voted against the mission.

Baby Bush went war crazy because his dad went into Iraq and failed to get Saddam....and he wanted to be the Little Bush That Could.
After that the war machine was running and just kept building momentum. Likely because our Chainey had all those financial ties with Haliburton.
Their name was stamped on every bullet, biscuit, and band aid sent to the middle east.
we went full hog on saddam just for opening his mouth at the wrong time. Getting Bin Laden was a side quest

I heard about Tora Bora a lot, but I never knew that Secretary Rumsfeld refused to cooperate with the CIA. Apparently there was tension between the agencies because the CIA took the lead on the Bin Laden hunt because secretary Rumsfield asked for 6 months to prepare and the CIA told Bush that they could get him right away. Either way, failure to cooperate with one another is what got them there in the first place, so it's rather disappointing that so early on after 9/11 they failed to make changes that were needed.
