Before the latest round of Premier League fixtures, here is all the key injury news alongside essential Fantasy Premier League statistics.

The gameweek kicks off tonight with Leeds United hosting Nottingham Forest in the Friday evening kick-off (20:00 GMT) - here is the full fixture list.

This article will be updated as Premier League managers give their weekly news conferences.

Friday​

Leeds United v Nottingham Forest (20:00 GMT)​


Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has confirmed that Anton Stach will probably miss the next two games with a hip injury, while Lukas Nmecha has not yet returned to team training.

James Justin and Jaka Bijol are back in training and available, while Daniel James is making progress after a thigh issue.

Nottingham Forest head coach Sean Dyche is without the suspended Neco Williams, meaning Luca Netz could come straight into the reckoning after his deadline day arrival from Borussia Monchengladbach.

New goalkeeper Stefan Ortega could also be in line for a debut if Matz Sels doesn't recover from a pelvic problem in time.

  • Since Gameweek 18, only four midfielders have accumulated more Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points than the 38 of Leeds United's Brenden Aaronson (£5.4m).
  • Nottingham Forest's Igor Jesus (£5.8m) has attempted 42 shots in the box in2025-26, a tally that only five other players can better.
  • Since Gameweek 19, no midfielder has had more big chances than the four of Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White (£7.3m). He has either scored or assisted in each of his last three away matches.

Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur (12:30 GMT)​


Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick has no new injury worries following last week's victory over Fulham.

Carrick revealed Mason Mount is "not too far away" while Matthijs de Ligt is working his way back from a lower back injury.

For Tottenham Hotspur, head coach Thomas Frank confirmed Micky van de Ven has returned to training and is available for selection, while Djed Spence is close to a return after a calf problem.

Frank said Cristian Romero had been dealt with internally after his social media comments about the "disgraceful" number of fit players injury-hit Spurs had to choose from last week.

Key FPL notes:

  • No player has created more chances than Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes (£9.6m) this season (68), having supplied 12 assists in 21 matches. The Portuguese playmaker is the second-most-bought player ahead of Gameweek 25, with over 384,000 new owners.
  • United's Matheus Cunha (£8.0m) has produced either a goal or an assist in each of the last three Gameweeks.
  • Tottenham Hotspur's Xavi Simons (£6.5m) has served up two assists in his last four starts. In Gameweek 24, no midfielder registered more shots (five) and only one created more chances (four).

Arsenal v Sunderland (15:00 GMT)​


Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris confirmed that the club are yet to hear the result of Granit Xhaka's ankle scan, but the skipper is said to be doing well.

Deadline day signing Nilson Angulo is not yet with the squad but should arrive this evening and there is a chance the Ecuadorian will be available for selection.

  • No player has taken a higher combined number of corners and free-kick crosses this season than the 90 of Arsenal's Declan Rice (£7.5m), who, among midfielders, ranks joint-second for chances created (44) and third for big chances created (12).
  • His Gunners team-mate Gabriel Magalhaes' (£7.0m) eye for goal has already served up five attacking returns this season (three goals, two assists).
  • Sunderland's Nordi Mukiele (£4.5m) has produced an assist in each of the last three Gameweeks.

  • Bournemouth's Junior Kroupi (£4.7m) has the best shot-to-goal conversion rate of any forward this season (38.1%).
  • His Cherries team-mate James Hill (£3.9m) has returned defensive contribution points in five of his last six starts. He also produced an assist in Gameweek 23.
  • In the last four matches, no midfielder has racked up more shots (15) or penalty box touches (35) than Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers (£7.6m).

Burnley v West Ham United (15:00 GMT)​


West Ham United head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is without the suspended Jean-Clair Todibo. One possible replacement, new loan signing Axel Disasi, will have his readiness assessed today following a lack of game time at parent club Chelsea.

Back-up goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski remains absent with a lower back injury for the Hammers.

  • Across each player's last four home matches, no goalkeeper has made more saves (25) or received more save points (eight) than Burnley's Martin Dubravka (£4.0m).
  • West Ham United's Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) has delivered 36 points over the last six Gameweeks, the second-most of any forward, thanks to three goals, one assist, four defensive contribution points and seven bonus.
  • The Hammers' Crysencio Summerville (£5.5m) has scored in each of his last three appearances, amassing 25 points.

  • Fulham's Raul Jimenez (£6.2m) has produced an attacking return in four of his last five home matches. He also converted his 12th successive penalty in Gameweek 24 to beat the Premier League record for the most spot-kicks taken without a single miss.
  • Among midfielders, only Newcastle United's Bruno Guimaraes (£7.1m) has recorded more goals or FPL points at home than the six and 68 respectively of Fulham's Harry Wilson (£6.1m).
  • In the last six Gameweeks, only one forward has scored more goals than Everton's Thierno Barry (£5.7m), with four.

  • With an Expected Goals (xG) of 0.65, Wolverhampton Wanderers' Tolu Arokodare (£5.4m) came second in the xG underachievers list for Gameweek 24. Only Hugo Ekitike (£8.9m) had more shots than the five of the 0.1%-owned Wolves forward.
  • Chelsea's Joao Pedro (£7.5m) has rattled off three goals and two assists in the last three Gameweeks. With over 497,000 new owners, the forward is the most transferred-in player ahead of Gameweek 25.
  • With four goals and an assist in the last six Gameweeks, Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez (£6.8m) is the third-most bought player this week (over 319,000 transfers in). In that time, he has amassed more FPL points than any other midfielder (43).

Newcastle United v Brentford (17:30 GMT)​


Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe has confirmed Anthony Gordon will be absent after pulling up with a thigh injury last week.

Bruno Guimaraes has been absent with an ankle injury for the past four matches but trained this week and is likely to return to the squad, while Howe waits for an update on Lewis Miley.

  • Brighton's Pascal Gross (£5.5m) has delivered 29 crosses over the last five Gameweeks, the second-most of any FPL midfielder.
  • Among defenders to have made at least 10 appearances this season, Crystal Palace's Daniel Munoz (£5.8m) has the third-best minutes-per-goal ratio, producing a strike every 473.3 minutes.
  • Palace's Maxence Lacroix (£5.1m) has racked up 252 defensive contributions to earn the third most defensive contribution points for a defender (24). He is the ninth-highest scoring defender in the game, despite keeping only one clean sheet in the last 10 Gameweeks.

Liverpool v Manchester City (16:30 GMT)​


Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says he does not know if Bernardo Silva will be fully fit but the midfielder will be assessed in training tomorrow.

Ruben Dias is available to start after returning to the bench in midweek and John Stones was back in training yesterday.
