Rumors surfaced linking Alexis Mac Allister with a move to Real Madrid in Argentinian newspaper Olé, but the player’s father has moved to dismiss the speculation.
Speaking to Erem News, Carlos Mac Allister denied reports suggesting there has been contact between Real Madrid and the Liverpool midfielder’s camp.
“What has been circulating about Alexis is false,” he said. “No one from Real Madrid has spoken to us so far. There is no new information about Alexis’s current situation at Liverpool.”
Mac Allister was loosely mentioned as a potential target for Real Madrid in the wake of the club evaluating midfield options for the future. However, according to his father’s comments, there have been no developments regarding a possible move.
