NC State transfer forward Cole Cloer has officially committed to Alabama, per Yea Alabama.

At 6-foot-7, 190 pounds, Cloer is a talented wing with excellent size and athleticism. The forward, who enrolled early at NC State back in January, never appeared in a game for the Wolfpack, and decided to enter the transfer portal after former head coach Will Wade departed for LSU earlier this offseason.

Alabama was also listed as one of Cloer’s top schools prior to his NC State commitment as well, and the forward will now spend his freshman season with the Crimson Tide in 2026-27.

Cloer was ranked as the No. 34 small forward and the No. 85 overall player from the class of 2026, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. He was ranked as the No. 16 overall player out of Florida as well where he attended IMG Academy.

Alabama will more than likely continue to add talent via the transfer portal as the offseason progresses, as the Tide have started to reload following the departure of a multitude of players.
